Plant: Upright plant habit, with medium vigour and easy to pick fruits. The plant is rustic with very good natural resistance to leaf and root diseases.

Fruit: Particularly regular and conical shape of fruits, very attractive in punnets. The fruitsize is also very regular and big, with light bright red colour. The flavour is sweet with a balanced aroma.

Harvest and yield: The fruits are easy to pick, with good firmness and excellent shelf-life. Giusy is an early producing (Clery pbr +3 days), junebearing variety with high chilling needs.

The above graphs show the harvest data of the CIV trial tunnel in Cesena, Italy of 2022. Both the new varieties perform equal or better than Clery with regards to production and brix.
